Student Dress Code
Students must dress and groom themselves in a clean, neat manner that does not negatively impact themselves or others. Clothing and accessories should be appropriate for school and should not distract from learning.
For safety, clothing and footwear must allow for physical activity. Tennis or rubber-soled shoes are required for PE.
Clothing, jewelry, or accessories may not reference sex, drugs, alcohol, weapons, violence, or gang affiliation. The following items are not permitted:
- See-through or sheer fabric
- Spaghetti straps, low-cut, midriff, or backless tops
- Pajamas or slippers
- Hats, hoods, or head coverings worn inside
- Sagging pants
- Shorts or skirts above mid-thigh
- Any item considered unsafe or disruptive to learning
Students must comply with dress code expectations daily. Continued non-compliance may result in parent contact, disciplinary consequences, or being required to correct the violation before returning to class.
